Long Beach is big, and so is its car market. From Belmont Shore to Bixby Knolls to North Long Beach, there are plenty of dealers close by, and plenty of ways to overpay at any of them.

We do the negotiating for you. Tell us the car, budget and timeline. We get written out-the-door quotes, push the dealers against each other, and bring you the best one to approve.

The Long Beach dealer map

A lot of the area's franchise stores are actually in Signal Hill, the small city surrounded by Long Beach. That's where you'll find Long Beach BMW, Mercedes-Benz of Long Beach and Long Beach Honda. In Long Beach itself you have Cabe Toyota, Porsche Long Beach and Timmons Subaru. For Lexus, many Long Beach buyers drive up to Lexus of Cerritos.

Here's the problem with a market this size. Most people pick the store closest to home and stop there. But Long Beach sits between the South Bay and Orange County, which means there are more dealers of most brands within reach than people realize. We use all of them.

What Long Beach drives

It's a practical town with a lot of variety. Toyota Camry, RAV4 and Tacoma, Honda Civic, Accord and CR-V hybrids, and Subaru Outback and Crosstrek are everywhere. Up the price ladder you'll see BMW 3 Series and X5, Mercedes-Benz C-Class and GLC, Lexus ES and RX, and the odd Porsche 911. First-time new-car buyers and families buying a second car call us a lot, and the process is the same as for a luxury lease.

Lease or buy?

Long Beach commutes vary wildly. If you work at the port, at an aerospace or healthcare job across the county, or drive the 405 to the Westside, miles pile up quickly and buying often wins. If you work close to home or take the Metro A Line downtown, a lease with a modest cap can keep payments down.

For reliable cars like a Camry, CR-V or RAV4, owning for many years usually costs the least. For luxury and electric models that lose value faster, leasing shifts that risk to the lender. Either way, we negotiate the selling price first, then the financing, and we show you the money factor or interest rate in writing.

Who does the work

John Ricci spent about 30 years inside dealerships, including time as a Finance Director. About 20 years ago he switched sides. Now he only works for buyers, and we take no money from any dealer.

How it works

  1. You tell us the car, budget, and timeline. One short call covers it. Torn between two models? We'll help you think it through.
  2. We shop dealers and negotiate. We contact the stores, compare real inventory, and get the out-the-door number in writing. You don't take sales calls.
  3. You approve the deal and drive. You see every line before you sign. Say yes, and we set up the signing, or delivery when the dealer offers it.

Price and guarantee

  • $997 flat for a new-car purchase or lease.
  • $497 to add your trade-in.
  • Guarantee: if our savings don't beat the fee, you pay nothing.
  • Our clients save about $3,200 on average.

No commissions and no dealer money. You're the only one paying us, so you're the only one we work for.

Your Long Beach Questions, Answered

The most common questions Long Beach buyers ask us before we get to work.

Is it worth it on a car like a Camry or CR-V, not just luxury cars?

Often, yes. Mainstream cars have smaller margins, but the finance office still adds products, fees and rate markups that add up. We look at the whole out-the-door number. And if we don't save you more than our fee, you pay nothing.

Will you shop Orange County dealers too?

Yes. Long Beach is right on the line, so we routinely get quotes from Orange County stores as well as Signal Hill, Long Beach and the South Bay. You only deal with the one that wins.

I'm buying my first new car. Can you walk me through it?

Absolutely. We'll explain lease versus loan, what a fair interest rate looks like for your credit, and which add-ons to skip. You'll understand every line before you sign.
