In Beverly Hills, nobody's surprised that a luxury car costs a lot. What surprises people is how much of the price is negotiable, and how much gets added back in the finance office after they think the deal is done.

That's what we handle. You tell us the car. We negotiate the whole out-the-door number with the dealers, in writing, and you approve it before anything gets signed.

The stores Beverly Hills buyers know

Several of the names carry "Beverly Hills," but not all of them are in the city. Mercedes-Benz of Beverly Hills is in Beverly Hills. Beverly Hills BMW, Porsche Beverly Hills and Land Rover Beverly Hills are all a short drive away, but their showrooms are actually in Los Angeles. Toward the coast, W.I. Simonson is the Mercedes-Benz store in Santa Monica.

High-end stores run polished processes, and that polish is part of the pitch. The coffee is good and the showroom is calm, and the paperwork can still include a dealer markup, appearance packages and a lease money factor marked up from what the lender approved. We read all of it.

What Beverly Hills tends to drive

Full-size luxury is common here: Mercedes-Benz S-Class, GLS and G-Class, Range Rover and Range Rover Sport, BMW 7 Series and X7, Porsche Cayenne and 911, plus the occasional Bentley or Rolls-Royce. A lot of households also keep a simpler second car for staff or errands. We handle both, and we're just as picky about the fees on a Toyota as on a Maybach.

Lease or buy?

Leasing is the default for many Beverly Hills drivers, and for expensive cars that lose value fast it often pencils out. You get a new car every two or three years, the warranty covers you the whole time, and you hand back the depreciation risk.

But lease math on a six-figure car has a lot of room to hide money. A small bump in the money factor can cost more than people realize over the term, and a "residual" that sounds generous can come with a higher selling price. We negotiate the price first, then the lease terms, and we show every number.

Buying makes sense for collectible or limited cars you plan to keep, and sometimes for business use. Talk to your CPA on the tax side; we'll handle the deal.

Who does the work

John Ricci spent about 30 years inside dealerships, including time as a Finance Director, which is exactly the office where luxury deals get padded. About 20 years ago he switched sides. He works only for buyers and takes nothing from dealers.

How it works

  1. You tell us the car, budget, and timeline. One short call covers it. Torn between two models? We'll help you think it through.
  2.
  3. We shop dealers and negotiate. We contact the stores, compare real inventory, and get the out-the-door number in writing. You don't take sales calls.
  4.
  5. You approve the deal and drive. You see every line before you sign. Say yes, and we set up the signing, or delivery when the dealer offers it.

Your Beverly Hills Questions, Answered

The most common questions Beverly Hills buyers ask us before we get to work.

Can you negotiate on a car with a waiting list or a dealer markup?

We try. We ask several dealers about allocation and push back on markups over sticker. On truly limited models, sometimes the honest answer is that paying sticker from the right store is the win. We'll tell you when that's the case.

I value privacy. Do I need to deal with salespeople at all?

Usually not. We handle the calls and emails, and the dealer only meets you for the signing or delivery, often at your home or office. We share only what the dealer needs to write the deal.

I already have a lease quote from a Beverly Hills store. Can you review it?

Yes. Send it over. John will look at the selling price, money factor, residual, fees and any add-ons, and tell you plainly whether it's fair. If it already is, he'll say so.
